What is the Template of Time?

Sprinkled throughout the Bible are these curious little time patterns that are like the pieces of a puzzle. When they are put together they form a grid upon which history unfolds with a consistency and specificity that rules out the possibility that this is the result of chance. I call this grid the Template of Time. As the first chapter of my book, The Template of Time: Our Destiny Decoded, will show, the design of the Template generates forecasts of future events. And below you will find how these sequences of events, described in Chapter One, are part of a larger movement that advances the story that history wishes to tell us.
If you've read the Bible you may wonder, "To what time patterns could he be referring?" Several of them may escape our notice because they are fractal in nature, meaning they are similar in shape but different in scale. For example, the oft-repeated forty-day time-pattern is a fractal of the also common forty-year time-pattern. Forty days and forty years are similar in shape, but are different in scale. (Biblical examples of some of the forty-day and forty-year time patterns are found in Chapter One.) Another fractal time pattern is the 7 X 7 + 1 day pattern of the Feast of Weeks, known to Christians as Pentecost, and the 7 X 7 + 1 year pattern of Jubilee. So is the statement that a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day (2 Pt 3:8). Again, they are similar in shape and different in scale.
Other time patterns fail to stand out because of the way they are presented. For example, the tabulation of the generations--a standard way of measuring time in the Biblical era--is done to fit obvious patterns. In the Old Testament there is a ten-generation cycle taking us from Adam to Noah (Gn 5:1-32), and another from Shem to Abram, who was later given the name of Abraham (Gn 11:10-26). The way these ten-generation lists are grouped together in separate blocks of scripture show how this pattern was intentional. The New Testament also follows this model. Matthew's gospel begins with a long genealogy that the author tells us is made up of fourteen-generation cycles: "Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Christ" (Mt 1:17, NIV translation). Interestingly, Matthew omitted several generations from the Old Testament genealogy to achieve this number of fourteen.
These time patterns are part of a code that has been broken.
Why Does It Matter?
I believe most people are concerned about where this world is headed. In the United States, many are concerned about America's decline. But is it declining? The Template of Time's forecast about America may surprise you.
What about the Middle East? The Template's forecast on this subject is not only clear, it is timely. In the chapter entitled, "2010 AD," we will look at Israel, Egypt and Syria and how these contestants in the Yom Kippur War appear headed for a re-engagement in the very near future. It also looks at what will happen after Israel attempts to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities in this year or the next--an action that the Template suggests very clearly. In short, the year 2010 and those near it--e.g., 2011 and 2012--will introduce a sea change in world history. At the center of this will be important changes in the histories of Israel, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey and the United States.
Though the European Union can look clumsy and ineffectual the Template forecasts the emergence of a European superpower with military ambitions. The relationship between China and the USA will move in an important new direction around the year 2010. Which way will it be? This not only makes for compelling reading, IT MATTERS!
Prove It
The flow of history proves there is a Template of Time. I suppose anyone could make history fit a pattern, but not a fairly detailed model that is then followed four times in a row. To fit such a model one time could be chance. To fit it twice would be interesting. To follow it a third time is evidence of a pattern; and to follow it a fourth time confirms the pattern's existence.
The book has charts and tables to illustrate this model and make it easier to understand, but I think that the historical example that I use below will make this model of time relatively easy to grasp.
Think of it in these terms: a sequence of events launches a historical movement; about 200 years later a new sequence of events transforms this movement or redirects it; and then about 200 years after that this redirected historical movement that seemed somewhat small and insignificant achieves its culmination through a new sequence of events. In sum, there is a sequence of events that initiates a movement, a sequence of events redirects it and this new direction is fulfilled by a final sequence of events. That's it. It is no more complex than that.
In the Template of Time this three stage process is about 500 years in duration. There are four of them in every 2,000 year long epoch and they are called seasons. We are now at the culmination point of a 2,000 year epoch and this will make the next 20-30 years among the most eventful years in human history.
The book will help you remember this structure of time by heading each section in the following way, for example:
First-Stage Initiation: France's Wars of Religion
Under this heading a sequence of events that initiates this movement in history involving the Wars of Religion in France will be covered. In the second stage this movement will need to be redirected if the Template of Time is valid, and when the second stage of this season arrives you will find a new heading introducing this new direction. For example:
Second-Stage New Direction: The French Revolution and Dechristianization
A sequence of events that redirects the historical movement of religious war will be covered in this section. After seeing these headings throughout the book you will become very familiar with the structure of time.
I mentioned that these stages were initiated and redirected by "sequences of events." If you read chapter one you will find a full description of the "sequence." (Please read it if you have not done so already.) The sequence is like the three-stage season in that it initiates (I) a movement, and sends it in a new (N) direction that then culminates (C). This sequence of events is called an INC sequence.
In each of the three stages there are INC sequences of events. For example, the first stage of the first season was launched by an INC sequence that was initiated around 64 AD; it was then moved in a new direction around 96 AD; this historical movement's new direction then achieved its culmination around 100 AD. And this same pattern occurred 500 years later in 564-596-600, 1000 years later in 1064-1096-1100, and and 1500 years later in 1564-1596-1600.
We will now watch how history illustrates this process.
First-Stage Initiation: The Crusades
The Crusades: In the third season's first stage we see the initiation of a historical process called the Crusades. The sequence that launches this movement began in 1064. (As stated above, this sequence will follow the years 1064-1096-1100.) In that year a mini-crusade was launched known as the siege of Barbastro. It was like a dress rehearsal for the Crusades complete with a papal plea to mount this campaign, only it was aimed at the Muslims who had conquered Spain and not the Holy Land. A new impulse moved this process in a new direction when the Crusades were launched in 1095. This culminated in the Crusaders achieving their goal of capturing Jerusalem in 1099. (Why the years are not always exact--e.g., the 1095 start of the Crusades is not exactly 1096--is covered in chapter one.)
As previously noted, in the Template a sequence of events initiates a movement of history, then a new sequence redirects it about 200 years later, and this new direction matures and achieves its full expression, or culminates after another 200 or so years. In the example of the Crusades we see how a sequence of events initiated this historical movement and it is intertwined with another sequence that reinforces and augments this movement.
The second sequence in the first season's first stage was initiated around 94 AD, was redirected by a new impulse in 126 AD and achieved its culmination in 130 AD. Let’s return to the Crusades and the sequence that would occur 1000 years later around the years 1094-1126-1130. The Crusades began in 1095 and gave birth to the Crusaders, or soldiers of the cross. When the new direction year came around in 1126 a new type of soldier of the cross appeared: monasticism and warring knight fused in the Knights Templar who became military monks following a meeting between their Grand Master, Hughes du Payens, and the most charismatic Christian of his day, St. Bernard of Clairveaux. They met in 1127. This sequence culminated in the creation of the second great order of military monks, the Knights Hospitallers, in 1130. Monasticism plays a little-known but very important role in history, and it is featured prominently on the Template of Time.
Second-Stage New Direction: Monastic Inquisitors
This section would show how sequences of events redirected and transformed the Crusades into a new movement. What will the Crusades be transformed into, or how will this movement be redirected? The chapter title, From the Crusades to the Inquisition, provides you with a big clue. However, the Inquisition needed time to achieve its full expression and we will see it culminate in the third stage about 200 years later.
Do not be dismayed by the following cascade of dates. They do not need to be memorized, or referred to later. They simply make the point that chance and coincidence cannot possibly account for the way history follows this model of time.
In season one, stage one, the sequences follow these years: 64-96-100 and 94-126-130. Stage two: 274-306-310 and 294-326-330. Stage three: 484-516-520 and 494-526-530.
In season two, stage one, the sequences follow these years: 564-596-600 and 594-626-630. Stage two: 774-806-810 and 794-826-830. Stage three: 984-1016-1020 and 994-1026-1030.
In season three, stage one, the sequences follow these years: 1064-1096-1100 and 1094-1126-1130. Stage two: 1274-1306-1310 and 1294-1326-1330. Stage three: 1484-1516-1520 and 1494-1526-1530.
In season four, stage one, the sequences follow these years: 1564-1596-1600 and 1594-1626-1630. Stage two: 1774-1806-1810 and 1794-1826-1830. Stage three: 1984-2016-2020 and 1994-2026-2030.
Now for me to make several different historical processes fit this precise pattern for one season would be impressive, but inconclusive. It could just be a one-off. But for history to follow the exact same pattern of introducing an important movement in history, redirecting it and completing it on the exact same dates, four times in a row, is evidence of the existence of a Template of Time that history is compelled to follow. Either that or the word "random" needs to be redefined as follows: "the absence of any pattern even when a pattern obviously exists."
Forecasting Capability
The second-stage sequences introduce a new direction to a historical process, and once we know what this new direction is we can roughly forecast what will happen next and when. For example events that occurred in the second stage of the fourth season--the sequences of 1774-1806-1810 and 1794-1826-1830--will be fulfilled in the third stage sequences that we are now in the midst of (1984-2016-2020 and 1994-2026-2030). About one-half of the book is dedicated to the fourth season's second and third stage because they help us to understand where we are headed as a nation and as a family of nations.
Once you reach the chapters dealing with our time you will have seen how history has conformed to this pattern with faithfulness and precision for hundreds of years. My guess is that after you have surveyed the evidence, many of you will be far less likely to be dismissive of the amazing changes that are forecasted.
You may argue: no one knows the future. And I would agree with you. We cannot know the future. God alone knows the future. But just as meteorologists forecast the future of the weather by interpreting the atmospheric patterns, and guess the next day's weather accurately much of the time, so also can we forecast future historical events based on the patterns of history. Meteorologists are not always right. After all, they do not know the future. Nor will I always be right, but time will tell soon enough if I am right or wrong in many of these predictions, because epochal events are just around the corner.

I hope you enjoy the first chapter that is made available on this website. I also hope you enjoy the blog. It will comment on current events as seen in the light of the Template, and it will also comment on investing in the stock market. One of the strangest outgrowths of my research into the patterns of history, recounted in the first chapter, is the way it led me to rethink the technical analysis of a stock's price-movements over time. These simple tweaks led me to improve my investment performance dramatically. I was even able to call, in advance, the March 6th, 2009 stock market bottom (both the approximate level and day). That was the day when the S&P 500 reached its beastly low of 666, a low that I believe will never be breached.
I hope my investment ideas help some of you, but I would caution you to read the introductory blog post. It will give you an idea of how I view the market and it will also remind you, as I do here, that no one is 100% accurate in their investment ideas and that certainly includes me. It will also remind you that everyone's investment decisions are their own. You are responsible for them, no matter who you listen to.
When I use my system and guess correctly, which I often do, I give glory to God who has enabled me to see patterns in the murky chaos of market activity. When I am wrong I give glory to God who is confronting me with the humbling fact that only He knows all things and that includes the future.
History seems like the parade of chaos. Everything appears jumbled and confused. The irrational forces of insane hatred and murderous passion, terror and war, often frighten us. But the Template's message is one of hope. There is a plan. It is perfectly timed, and everything is unfolding on schedule according to it.
